Thank you for your interest in the Xtrons custom fit BMW

We Currently Stock the following models

- PX7139B for E53 X5
- PF7139BGT fpr E53 X5
- PF7239B for E53 X5
- PF7146B or PF7146BA (android) for E46 3 series
- PX7146B for E46 3 Series
- PF7146BGT for E46 3 Series
- PF7190B for E90's 3 Series
- PX7190B for E90'S 3 Series

In most cases these units are an easy exchange, however there are a few exceptions

When installing either of the 39B or the 46B If your vehicle has factory fitted SAT-NAV you will require a 5 meter extension as the stereo connections are situated in the boot near the battery, extensions required are

PF7239B - EXL003

When preparing your E46 for the stereo you will be required to relocate your heater controls beneath the lip of the dashboard where the storage pocket is located, relocation kits are available on line however most customers do not use them as they can be quite expensive for what they are. The heater controls can generally be clipped in place without the kit, the fit is not exact but our customers seem to be happy with the results .

If you have an amplified or Harman Kardon speaker system connection of these stereo is difficult as no exact adapter is currently made for this connection. If you purchase from connects2 the CT53-BM01 with a little alteration the active system adapter can be wired into the supplied ISO retaining this feature (great care should be taken to insure the correct wires are connected Xtrons accept no responsibility for damage due to incorrect installation).

Lastly the PF7190B requires a permanent live feed to be taken from the fuse box or battery, due to the nature of the vehicle the stereo does not have a permanent 12V feed when the vehicle is locked and alarmed please bear this in mind when installing.

Hope you find this information useful, if you require anything further please ask.
