Hi all,

Having purchased the TB706APL last week I have a couple of questions,

1, How do you turn off Bluetooth > Auto answer? I have tried turning it off but every time I go back in to the screen the option is enabled.

2, Is it possible to turn the screen off but have the head unit still running? e.g. I would like to press the power button and have the screen turn off, when I hold the power button then the head unit turns off.

3, Is it possible to protect the head unit with a pin code when it starts up from a cold boot?

4, I had a Pioneer microphone already installed in my car, it had a 2.5mm plug, I used a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male adapter so I could connect it to the TB706APM, how would I confirm if the head unit is using the external microphone?

Thanks,

Hi,

1. i have checked with our technician and he said the software is works like that, the Bluetooth is turn on. if you do not connect the Bluetooth, you can turn off the Bluetooth on your phone.

2. our units do not support this setting.

3. we do not have passcode for the unit boot up.

4. this unit supports external microphone, we cannot tell if the pioneer microphone can be connected, however you are welcome to have a try.

Best Regards

I will test and let you know how I get on, only way I can think of testing is by tapping on the microphone and asking the person on the other end of the call to check.
