    Posted: 09/Apr/2017 at 18:08
Hello, I have connected the AV RCA output cable of the  TB706APL to the input RCA of my video screen and the video sent has no colour, it is balck and White. The rigth and left sound works OK.

I have tested with output  video signal from another devices and my video screen shows colour images perfectly.

Pleas could you tell me how to configure the ouput video of the  TB706APL to be colour video?.

Best regards

Hello Sohia, when I was preparing the viedo I saw in my video monitor that the output signal from the unit TB706APL is NTSC and I need output PAL video.

Can you tell me how to switch between the output video types?.

Best regards

Hi,

this unit supports NTSC and PAL video format, you do not have to switch to PAL.

Hello, talking about input video you are right, the unit can detect what kind of format it need to use for the received video, but when the unit is sending the video throught the video output RCA connectors it outputs NTSC formmat signal. I have tested it using a tv monitor that support both video format, configuring the PAL and NTSC fromat, and always shows the NTSC message when recevive the video from the unit.

The headset monitor that I have in my car uses PAL video format and when it receives NTSC video format does not shows colour and does not maintain the correct aspect ratio.

I would need to force the unit output RCA to be PAL video formnat.

Best regards

Hi Sophia, yes the NTSC output format works fine.

I need PAL output video format because my monitor Headrest recognice the colour and aspect ratio of PAL videos, but does not work fine with NTSC video format.

Best regards.
