SD Card crashes the unit

My TD601 has developed a problem with the SD card reader, this has been working fine until last week where occasionally half way through a song it will crash the unit.

Ive tried other SD cards and these work fine for a day or so but then will start crashing.
 
The unit seems to stall, tries movign to the next few songs, the screen then flashes green and the unit reboots, it first tries to read the SD card, fails and then goes into the radio mode. Everythign else seems fine (i.e. radio, bluetooth, DVD)

It should be the problem of the SD card reader, and you may contact the customer support to return your unit for repair.

Hi, if you purchased directly from xtrons.com, you may contact the customer support via support@xtrons.com.

Normally they will reply within 48 hours.  Please be patient :)

Hi Emily, it wasnt direct through Xtrons, i bought it through a company called Atlas Audio Systems which was over 3 months ago. it has also been 5 days since i contacted support.

Did you notice that your confirmation of order came from UGSELECTRONICS when you purchased your td601...
 
i bring to your attention that this company is infact XTRONS...
 
BlackSilverTech and Atlas car systems are USGELECTRONICS
on the usg electronics website on the "about section" they state that they are infact Xtrons...
 
this is something to be said of "false representation"... - which i believed UK LAW states you have to be clear of what the company your buying something off is... (http://www.ugsage.net) states that they have UK offices... they dispatch from the UK (as does Xtrons, BST and Atlas) so they all fall into the UK LAW...
 
 
Did you pay Via credit card Jared? - if you get an insatisfactory response from Xtrons/Atalas, it may be worthwhile calling your CC company, and telling them your invoking section 75 of the consumer credit act ... as they are jointly responsible
 
 
your CC company will then pursue Xtrons/Atlas/UGS for the money... - i ALWAYS select my CC as payment on paypal... so worthwhile checking...

- update... actually, i doubt either of them are related... xtron systems limited is http://www.acousticapplications.co.uk/
 
xseams strange that this Xtrons doesnt have a companies house registration, yet have a UK depot for despatch... (i wonder if HMRC might want to investigate them... :P)

Hi, you should purchase from atlas-car-sys on eBay, is that correct?
If yes, it is a direct seller of Xtrons product. You should contact the customer support via ebay05@ugsage.com.

Hi wpearsall2k4, lol, unbelievably you searched out so many information.
As I stated in another post, Blacksivertech and Atlas-car-sys are both direct seller of Xtrons on eBay.
But please note that Xtrons is not Xtron. Xtron has nothing to do with Xtrons :P
